This tent is slightly heavier than other 2-person tents, but it really is a great value and it is a TRUE 2-person tent. My bf and I are not small (he's over 6') and we had plenty of room, length and width, for the both of us plus some gear. We couldn't fit both of our packs inside, but they were slightly overloaded anyway.As far as set up, this is definitely a two-person job. The tent does not stand up on its own without being staked into the ground. Otherwise, it is relatively easy. There's lots of zippers on both the tent and the rainfly to make for easy access. The pockets inside on each side of the tent were great for keeping a small flashlight and keys. There's a zipper at the zip so you can set up or take down a vent on the rainfly.
